AMS Teacher Education Committee Annual Meeting
Once a year, the AMS Teacher Education Committee (TEC) holds a meeting in conjunction with the AMS Annual Conference. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and make recommendations in specific areas of teacher education such as affiliation, curriculum, practicum experience, evaluation, certification standards and guidelines. The meeting also provides opportunities for networking and professional development. The work of the TEC continues throughout the year by standing committees and task forces.
Every AMS full-affiliate teacher education program (TEP) is required to send at least 1 representative. In addition, TEPs may choose to send 1 representative per affiliated level at the main site and 1 representative per affilated level at any additional locations. Representatives from applicant teacher education programs are invited to observe the meeting as non-voting guests.

- You’ll be taken to a Welcome page with a blue menu on the left hand side.
- Click “Meetings” in the blue menu
- Click “Register for this meeting” next to the TEC Annual Meeting
- Complete all sections of the registration form and click “Submit” to finalize your registration
